BA senior manager falls to his death
BA IT director yesterday fell to his death, from the maintenance car park at Heathrow. Despite desperate efforts to save him, he died from his injuries. Although he had worked for nearly 30 years for BA, colleagues say that he may have been worried about being made redundant, due to cost cutting, which had seen 150 of his own staff lose their jobs.
I have met him on several occasions - very sad news.

I was deeply shocked and saddened when I read about this is in the Evening Standard. I worked for said person for a number of years. Knowing his professionalism and genuineness it is a true loss to both BA and the IT industry.
I am quite surprised that there have not been more posts regarding this.
My thoughts go out to his family.

Took around a week for the news to reach me via BA's IT Partner. What was more disturbing was the accompanying information that this is the THIRD such incident (if I may call it that) in as many months! Things must be getting very poor at BA for this to be happening.
Condolences to the families involved.
