BMI MME-LHR route/BMI baby
Hello
What A/C trype does BD utilise on its MME-LHR route. I have seen in the the OAG timetables that where there is a codeshare sometimes (e.g. between BD and another airline) it gives two different aircraft types (i.e. a 737 and an F100) even though they are being operated by the same A/C. Also, what A/C types does baby BMI baby operate, I know 733s, but sometimes a 735 or an F100 is timetabled, so does it use these as well?

MME-LHR
I have also noticed different a/c types quoted on the same flight in OAG (different codeshare as said). I believe that BD currently mix 735/733/F100 on LHR-MME as on LHR-LBA depending on time/day. But come the end of October, I think that all the 737s are leaving LHR. Then I assume that all F100s (4 out of 6 currently at EMA)will op. from LHR. As for BMIBaby, current ops at EMA; 2 x 733s & 1 x F100. From 27/28 Oct....7 x 737s at EMA & 2 x 737s at CWL. Some of these will be the 735s which won't receive the full BMIBaby cols.

I currently fly out of MME and have seen BMI use everything but the a330 for the LHR. They normally utalise the 737 but occasionally 320 321 f100 .... believe they will use the f100 in the winter.

Don't the F100s use remote stands at LHR (as a general rule) rather than the regular BD stands on the domestic pier? Bussing pax from gates to remote stands is an operational headache (and isn't much fun for the pax either) so moving the 737s to Baby wouldn't necessarily be such a good idea.

Bussing pax needn't be an operational headache, if the airport infrastructure is right. In fact bussing departing pax can make for quicker turnarounds, by separating the boarding bottleneck of pulling tickets from the getting on to the aircraft bit.
I'm not sure if the current incarnation of jetties on the bravo pier can bend down far enough to get a Fkr on. Even if they can, it makes more sense to bus 80 pax from a F-100 than 150 from a A321.
