Overtures Of Lay-offs At Swiss?

Today’s Dimanche.ch (original story from the Sonntagsblick) is reporting that if Swiss pilots strike, Swiss will lay off 310 pilots in 3 phases. 80, then 130 and finally another 100. These would obviously be mostly ex-Crossair. The article also mentions that a Swiss insider claimed the reduction in pilots would apparently not hurt Swiss since they employed too many anyway.

BTW, Swiss Pilots (ex-Crossair pilots union) are again bringing Swiss to court in Basel’s labour tribunal. This time it is over what pilots what be layed off first in case of company downsizing.
