A successor to Rod?

This is a rumours page so here’s a rumour,

I heard yesterday that a prospective candidate to replace Rod Eddington as CEO of BA was approached recently to see if SHE wanted the job. Apparently she said that she might be interested, but she would need to receive resignation letters from 7 named board members before she would take the job on.

Way to go Lady! I bet I know who you are.

I’ll take on the opposition anyday. It’s my management I can’t beat!

If she is the one that we all think SHE might be, then it wold be the best move that BA have ever made.

Let us all pray that the rumour is true - skippy has failed and the sooner he departs with his pot of gold the better.

The prolem is that they do go with a "pot of gold". It would be better if they went with nothing.
I bet they have a good deal on their pensions.

Aren't BA jumping the gun? Martha Stewart hasn't resigned yet.

I'd much rather see HER follow Ray Webster at easyJet.

Lucky BA if she does take it. Best chance of 'team' rebuilding they can get.

That was a very doll-ist comment, Mattel will send Ken round to sort you out. Mind you I'd rather have a good wrestle with Skipper personally.

It would be good for The Ministry of Airline Passengers to get a new boss who can rouse the troops.

I see from another thread that Stelios is leaving EasyJet next year - perhaps to take over BA?
