This is an improvement, albeit for 2 months. It's not great where a domestic route is 4 weekly, against 3x daily from BHD/EIR.

Looking at the current timetable for Tuesday 2nd July 2024 it seems that easyJet may be planning on basing another aircraft bring the number of based aircraft to NINE

Looks like 4x A319s & 5x A320s
  1. EZY3041 Faro 06:00 (A320)
  2. EZY35 Stansted 06:00 (A319)
  3. EZY3051 Amsterdam 06:05 ( A320)
  4. EZY3071 Enfidha 06:10 ( A320)
  5. EZY818 Gatwick 06:15 (A320)
  6. EZY25 Birmingham 07:00 (A320)
  7. EZY67 Newcastle 07:00 (A319)

There's been talk of this for some time.

Two points.

1. Very recently I flew into Dublin from Turkey on Turkish Airlines. I was quite surprised at the number on the flight with NI accents. I have read on another site that the route carries a lot of NI pax. A few years back there was speculation that Turkish was looking at Belfast. I don't know what happened to that if there was any truth in the rumor, no doubt Covid didn't help. Any views on whether Turkish might renew their interest, or another carrier like Pegasus? I travelled back to Belfast on a full bus, the loss of pax from Belfast to Dublin is huge.
2. With the recent news on more new routes, what routes are left that might be a good shot for speculation. Jet2 had Izmir on sale, but cancelled it due to Covid. Madrid? And could we see any more based units from Ryanair next year?

If Ezy has 9 based next summer, Jet2 will have 4, Ryanair 2 at the moment and Tui 1, that is a total of 16, the highest ever if that holds?

TUI showing A320 for 2025 flights from BFS, guessing Avion Express (Malta) or Smartlynx

From the experience I’ve had with all three. I would say Sunwing are actually the better (I know it’s hard to believe), followed by Avion Express.

The timing of flights on several routes with Ezy I find just weird. Not sure at all the sort of thinking now employed by the scheduling team.
