Gazmo- where's the increase on BHX? Not challenging you just wondering as it looks similar to what I'd seen before for winter.
LGW-BHD/BFS - I think in general the BFS route has more frequency than any other Belfast-London route with many 6x daily days in winter. BHD is 3x daily from this summer.
As to why split operation - the simple answer is it keeps the competition out/at bay. For as long as EZY do BHD to say BRS or LPL then EIR won't and neither will any other random operator. The more complex way of looking at it is the FR effect, it gives EZY another card to play, somewhere to move capacity to and a bargaining chip with BFS.

EasyJet - Winter 2023/24
EasyJet has Jersey on sale for Winter 2023/24 operating on Wednesdays and Saturdays using A320.
Looking at based aircraft seat maps it looks like all seven aircraft will be A320s for Winter 2023/24.
So is this Summer possibly the end of the 2x based A319s at BFS?

I have been a very regular user of BFS-LGW for many years now. For a long period, this route would have had 7 flights on busier days, usually 6 say Tuesday/Wednesday. However, look now at 6th March 2024, a Wednesday. From BFS, there are departures at 6.40, 14.30, 18.30 and 20.55. Now 4 departures. From BHD, departures at 7.40, 9.45 and 14.10. So now the mid-morning departures that used to be at BFS, 9.45 and 14.10, now operate from BHD. The range of flight times ex BFS is now not nearly as good, whilst from BHD, the last flight to LGW is at 14.10. Easy was never very clever at operating a good spread of flights, frequently you could see an early departure at say 6.30ish, then the next not until maybe 4.00pm. If these flights were operated from one airport, they could have a great spread of flights throughout the day. But instead we have stupidity. I have been travelling for long enough to know that this is a great way to ruin a route.

allnamestaken1, you are right. However, when companies start to think like that, it is usually the beginning of a bad road. Might take a while, but it will come and it is usually recognised too late. I have seen it often.

Also Fedex looks to be starting CDG-MAN-BFS-MAN-CDG at 4-5x weekly for Winter 2023/24.

I really would like this venture to succeed, but it looks like another 'flight of fantasy', though rather more realistic than 'Global Airlines', perhaps Hans Airways (looking to have failed) and Go (sorry Fly) Pop that have been in formation for years and still not got an AOC are better comparisons.
It beggars belief that lenders and entrepreneurs keep chucking money at these projects.

It seems odd that the airport has omitted easyJet Holidays from their list of tour operators, despite the image at the top of the page, or have I missed something?

Whilst any modern business should have an up to date, accurate website, I think there are other areas they should be focusing on sorting with greater urgency.
