A300-B4 marking at Asahikawa

Curious why there is a strange A300-B4 silhouette on an airside road outside some ancillary buildings at Asahikawa airport (NW of main apron). Does anyone know the reason / background?

Have a look on Google Maps (satellite view) or Google Earth. There is an internal road parallel and to the east of the taxiway which goes towards the northern end of the runway. Zoom in a bit and there indeed seems to be the outline of an A300 painted on the road, and marked as such.

looks like a tight fit to the Terminal - maybe they painted it when they lengthened the runway as an aid to pilots parking without hitting the terminal or putting a wheel in the dirt?

Looks like a training rig. So they can practice not hitting things that bend
