out of the woods?
Glad to see today that TBI are posting healthy figures in terms of profits/ turnoverand passenger figures. After the horrendous events of last year and the overall downturn in the industry it is good to have some GOOD news for a change!
According to those good folk at the FINANCIAL TIMES INVESTOR CENTRE turnover rose to £186.2m, compared with £139.2m a year ago while earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization jumped 71 per cent to £53.1m. Pre-tax profits rose 26 per cent to £16.6m .
It looks like the future IS with the low costs and that people may be keen on flying again!.Belfast International passenger figures showed a very healthy increase despite the loss of British Airways (amongst others) to well over 3.5 million Hooray ...long may it continue!.
