Alitalia and Etihad partners

IMO they are doing everything wrong...
AB is going downhill, as is AZ.
Don't know much about Etihad Regional or Serbian.
As an Italian, and ex AZ, I cannot but despise their way of managing airlines.
Ey ceo gave an interview lately, blaming AZ failures on pilots privileges and government not giving them enough.
Really???

As someone working in one of those airlines, not all is as bleak as it seams from the outside. But yes, management of their investments is, well, challenged by cultural differences and misunderstanding of local customs, laws and representation.

Anyway, expect to see this thread vanish extremely fast.

Just curious. My daughter, studying in Florence, recently took a flight from Florence to Geneva. From the picture she sent me, the aircraft appeared to be a Saab 2000 in Etihad livery. Who is operating this?

What is the public sentiment, in Italy, about Italy's flag carrier being owned/run by a foreign company?

Do the public care?

No they don't care. Most Italians don't even like Alitalia. In the mean time Easyjet does ****loads of domestic flights between Milan and Southern Italy and those planes are nearly always full.
