EasyJet stopping EGMC - LIPZ route?

Apologies if this is in the wrong place

I was just wondering if anyone knows anything about easyJet's plans for their route between Venice Marco Polo and London Southend?
Flight information on their website stops at October of this year, and phone enquiries have yielded an oh so helpful response of "I can't say anything for certain"

Many thanks.

Newmarket Holidays are selling flights next year using the route. I reckon it will return as summer seasonal, hence why no replacement route has been announced (which they have typically done in the past).

Could this have been posted on either the Easyjet or Southend airport threads.

I totally agree with you as seems so many on here are opening new threads when they can be discussed in their relevant forums!

Also rather than use the codes such as EGMC and LIPZ wouldn't it be a lot easier for people to understand more if they used SEN and VCE!
