Garuda Indonesian Airlines

What a great service Garuda offer, flew LGW-AMS-LGW last weekend, could not fault them at all. £30 cheaper than both BA and EZY, flight was pretty full with lots making connections at Jakarta to Australia and New Zealand.

Aircraft was brand new, crew fantastic and provided with a small between LGW and AMS.

Let's hope this airline remains a frequent UK visitor !

For travel on most Indonesian airlines, a LARGE pair of knickers would be best, so I've heard.

And what did the small meal comprise of?

I flew GA many years ago and I found the food especially good.

A wrap and a yummy little sponge cake, not bad on a 45 min flight, although it was 80 mins late leaving LGW on friday. And the stewardesses are particularly easy on the eye.

I was sat in row 47 and by the time I got off the transit holding lounge for passengers onto Jakarta looked pretty full. Quite a few sat around me were flying onto Australia and New Zealand. But imagine quite a lot got off at Amsterdam as the airfare was the cheapest out of BA, Easyjet and KLM.

A lot cheaper maybe, but not at all practical when only operating once a day!

Not for business pax clearly, but it may be an option for price-sensitive leisure pax on a short break to AMS.

At least GA have the traffic rights.
