Effect of Scottish independence on Scottish aviation?

Can't get any worse,General aviation here is crap, for instance where can we hire or obtain instruction in a glass cockpit aircraft? quick answer:nowhere. You want to hire a forty year old Cessna 152 for instance, that will be £150!
Don't care much either way for all this independence baloney!

As a Scot, I really hope we vote No. I had got a little complacent and thought no way would the Yes vote win, but I think it will be desperately close, I am a little nervous but I am keeping everything crossed common sense will prevail.

Think there's a concencus growing that Prestwick's demise would be accelerated with a 'yes' vote. Wonder how long it will remain open now?

Wonder what incentives an independent Scotland could come up with to attract operators onto a new Scottish aircraft register? SC-OTT ought to fetch a premium!
