ERC at CWL
Anyone got opinions as to how the ERC traffic was handled by CWL? Just talking to a mate who got back from SNN. Says the decision to pre-check-in all pax meant delays because [allegedly] checked in pax turned up 2 hours late.
If Cardiff is going to hold major events like this on a regular basis CWL is going to have to be upgraded surely?
He did say the Millennium Stadium is the best venue he ever entered though

Another interesting note was how the pax on Bristol flights were forced to fill in 'landing cards' issued by Avon & Somerset Constabulary. Back to the bad old days of harrassment and intimidation. F..@king [email protected] as Mr Keane might say in a heated discussion! What exactly is this pre-check in business. Is it profiling like in France at the moment where 20 year old kids from the local security company go through your passport and tickets before you check in?

nothing so sinister... only that boarding cards for both flights were issued at SNN, meaning that short of headcount and checking each pax at the door of the plane, the airline could have no idea who was on board, leading to much problems if the plane, god forbid, went down.
