At what point to airports block flights from West Africa, etc?

That would not be an Airport Decision, but would have to be a Government Demand.

But, the time to act is now!

Why wait for someone to arrive with the disease and start killing our population too!

Wouldn't stop the infected flying to the UK via a different part of the world.

As private entities, are UK airports not able to ban certain carriers? Clearly they would be unlikely to ever do so for obvious commercial reasons, but when "push" comes to "shove" are they really prohibited?

Well, I see BA has stopped flights to Liberia and Sierra Leone until Aug. 31.

This at a time when Health Control throughout the UK ports of entry is waiting to be disbanded due to costs and in fighting as to which authority should fund them ( local council, airport authority or NHS).
