Airline up for sale?
Looks like Titan Airways might be up for sale according to the following:
Buy an European Airline Company business for sale on Businesses For Sale .com
Does anybody have more information about possible reasons for the sale?
Are they expecting a bit of a downturn or just looking to cash in?

We are a European based airline company, our company flies to Far-East, Asia, Canada, the Caribbean, S. Tomé, & Cabo Verde
We also have the permission to fly to other destinations, which we are not currently doing as we only have 7 passenger aircrafts and 1 cargo plane. For cargo we have the right to fly to Portugal, Brazil and other destinations in South America.

That's not Titan, the thread title should be changed.

Seems legit to me....I'm just corresponding with a Nigerian government official who wants me to look after several million pounds for him...I'll see if he's interested...
Also the small matter of the price....£46m.......? Makes no sense for a business with revenue of £16m unless you are the next WhatsApp!
Thing is it depends on what the value of the assets is.
Like buying a pub doing £300,000 a year for £3 million, makes no sense until your realise its location and what you could do with it.

The value of the fixed assets is crucial. Dramatically different for example if an aircraft has just had a 'D' check or is coming up for one!
There is also the value of goodwill.
3 times turnover is on the high side, but as Racedo said, not (necessarily) bad.
