Germanwings / Lufthansa Strike

Looks like all is not well in the Germanwings / Lufthansa camp.
This from the Germanwings website (similar message on Lufthansa website too) :

Pilots union Cockpit announces strike

The Cockpit union has announced a pilot strike that will also affect Germanwings. With the information currently at our disposal the strike will last from Wednesday, 2nd April, up to and including Friday, 4th April 2014.

Germanwings is currently drawing up a back-up timetable to be published here on germanwings.com the coming Monday
It appears that Eurowings are not affected.
A 3 day strike seems pretty severe. It does not say what it is about. Is it about the restructure - Lufthansa gifting routes to Germanwings? Or is it something else?
