XL Boss Phil Wyatt maybe in court. At last
It seems that PWC, liquidators of Goldtrail, are on the trail of Phil Wyatt, the weeping-on-tv-losing-£millions sometime and alleged boss of XL/Viking/Kiss/Meridian. Even Wabi, Meridian's restaurant went bust last year…
TTGDigital report: "The trial centres on a web of companies associated with Wyatt, Halldor Sigurdarson and Magnus Stephensen and Black Pearl Investments. They face a claim for £1.4 million from Goldtrail administrators PwC. PwC is also claiming £3.64 million against Turkish carrier Onur Air. They are alleged to have provided “dishonest assistance” to Goldtrail’s owner Abdulkadir Aydin and also involved a “breach of fiduciary duties” and misapplication of funds. It is alleged that improper transfers of funds were made to an offshore company, Morning Light."
Aydin has hidden in Ukraine with £10 million he transferred, shortly prior to popping Goldtrail.
It appears to be an intricate web of thieves and offshore companies, who one day will rob the wrong person and suffer more serious consequences than a day in court….
