ANC - apron positions in lighter colour

Hi,

I´ve been wondering about a number of apron positions in ANC / PANC:
Resembling roughly the shape of an airplane (fuselage plus wings), a part of their surface is much lighter in colour than the surrounding areas:

https://maps.google.de/maps?q=panc&l...=panc&t=h&z=16

Any ideas about the reason?
Are those light areas.... heated...? Or is a "high-friction" material used in these areas?

Thanks for any hints!

My guess is that they are concrete areas that have been constructed to increase the PCN and reduce the problems caused by fuel spillage etc, etc.
