Thumbs down Air 2000s new colour scheme at MAN

Yet another new colour scheme rolled up at MAN last night.
Air 2000 757 GCPEP ( thought that belonged to BA ?) arrived in a very 'First Choice' livery. Not much different from the last one imho, apart from the tail.

No doubt somebody, somewhere has been payed a lot of money to think up this very unoriginal scheme. I think i'm in the wrong job !

...Next !

P.S. The Brits 767 looks a bit better in the Toilets Under Inspection
blue, I think. Or is it just me ?

Was it blue and silvery looking?

If so, i might be wrong but i think that is the livery used on the aircraft that Air 2000 send off on those around the world type trips for a month or two at a time.
The interior gets a major overhaul aswel.

spoilers,

I know which one you mean, but I think that Silkman was talking about something different, the repainting of Air 2000's entire fleet in their new corporate livery. Although I haven't seen it, I understand incorporates a large number of features included in the 'First Choice' logo and brand (Air 2000's parent company)

Cheers,
Landing_24R

PS. Silkman, G-CPEP did used to belong to BA, but they returned it, I think it was leased. Any pictures of the scheme yet???

If you're familiar with the Simpsons, think of Sideshow Bob's hair and you've got the new tail design!

Pity there is no money for a FDSA or the promised pay rise or permanent contracts for the redundant pilots!

Cool

I've got a couple of pics, including a concorde in Air2000 livery, but not sure how to post them on here, drop me an e-mail and will send them to you. They are scanned into a Word document. doesn't look too bad actually.

Hope tis photo works

If not, the tail logo is a cross between the MS starfish screensaver and as cossac says SSBs hair in a maroonish colour.
I will send a photo to anyone who sends me an email
we aim to please, it keeps the cleaners happy

That is not Air2Bob's new livery. It's the one for the RTW trips.

Rumour has it that the real new livery will first appear on G-OOOZ who's ass is currently sticking out of Monarch's hangar still with the purple tail of Royal.

Again, rumour has it that the tail will be blue with the first choice pink flower.

Wigglet

We try to aim; it keeps Sue happy.

Your wrong Wigglet. It is the ex-BA a/c it was re-sprayed in NWI. The RTW a/c are blue stripes on a white fuselage.

G-CPEP

Does anyone know if 'EP is still at MAN? If so, can someone tell me what services she will be on, I might be able to grab a pic if she comes past

The new Air 2000 livery has the First Choice logo on the tail. The aircraft with it's ass currently sticking out of the Monarch hangar in MAN is G-CPEP. This will be the first aircraft in the new livery and will be rolling out next week.

The blue and silver livery is the round the world VIP aircraft not the new colours!!!

Landing 24R

'EP' is still in Monarchs hangar, as someone mentioned, with it's arse sticking out between the hangar doors !

Its the one with the turquoise tail with pink 'flower' on it.
I'll post a piccie when it comes out.

The rest of the colour scheme is the typical all white fuselage with a turquoise stipe at the front, turning pink at the back in a 'Lan Chile' style. Engines are turquoise also.

Beleieve it or not! that Flowery thing on the tail is officialy a Starfish. They paid millions for that design! when any primary school in the country could've done better.........More money wasted!

Looks like it's been caught in a paintball fight.

That green also looks very AmericaWest.
