OLT Express/ContactAir Germany possible merger
OLT ExpressGermany (OL, Bremen Neuenland(BRE)) has signed a letter of intent with Contact Air (C3, StuttgartEchterdingen (STR)) about the planned acquisition of Contact Air byOLT. Contact currently operates six Fokker 100sfor Lufthansa (LH, FrankfurtInternational (FRA)) and two Fokker 100s on behalf of Swiss (LX, Zurich Kloten(ZRH)). Lufthansa has however cancelled its wet-lease agreement fromthe end of October 2012 putting Contact Air's future in jeopardy. OLT andContact Air combined would operate 10 Fokker 100s, four Saab 2000sand a single Saab 340.
