Dunno about you but must have missed all those fighter jets in WW2.....
Well the Meteor was operational by the end of WW2, but it never equipped any of the Northolt-based squadrons, so the BBC's assertion that "It is the first time fighter jets have been stationed at the west London site since WWII" is just typical sloppy journalism.

Is City Airport actually operating during the Olympics as there aren't any flights today during day one of the Test Flights.

Also will 27 L & 27 R actually be usable as the flight paths are in the No Fly Zone as such ?

Waterfordman thats because its a saturday LCY only open for the morning and closes around lunch time reopens lunch time sunday .
