Post Low cost Brussels-Gatwick?

Anyone know of a low cost carrier planning
to open up the Brussels - Gatwick route?
Virgin used to have a good service but that
stopped a year or so back.

The last time looked it was cheaper for me
to fly Virgin into Heathrow, hire a car, and
drive to Gatwick rather than fly BA direct.

why hire a car...there is excellent bus service available...
Ans from BRU to Waterloo, the Eurostar beats every flight to LHR time and moneywise...about £95 return first class.

Why not fly Ryanair, CRL - STN, hire a car and drive to LGW? This should be the cheapest option!

Thanks for that. I'll keep my eyes open for details.

Thanks also for the other comments about the
shuttle bus etc. I've used the shuttle when
Gatwick has been my final destination but a
lot of the time I'm heading for the south coast.
It used to be quite easy/cheap to fly Virgin into
Gatwick and then get the train south.
