Iberia Pilots - please stop taxying so slowly!

Guys,

You may have a gripe with your employer but can you find another way to protest?

It really is a pain in the ar$e following you around Barajas at 10 kts.

Find another way to protest so that you dont stuff everyone else at the same time!!!

about as likely as getting a direct routing in Spain, or an approach into MAD without a runway change to the one furthest from your gate.

Those lovely chaps at Iberia Express always taxi at a reasonable speed though

Found myself stuck behind an IB A320 after landing on 15R in MAD around midnight recently.

If you taxi that speed on your last arrival at night most airlines won't care. It doesn't affect they're on-time performance as it's your departure time that counts. At midnight it can be assumed there won't be a turnaround...so you won't be delaying the next flight.

The only sense I could see in doing this at around midnight is delaying time with your family and friends etc? Not clever
