Question ASTRAEUS START UP

At the risk of this thread being removed, I raise the question - What's happening with Astraeus? Their website mentions the proving flight on 21 March, with commercial flights starting 28 March. Anyone know anything?

Cor blimey, that's done it !. .. .I'll bet that East Midlands is, as I type, veritably crawling with reggie spotters - each trying to be first to capture an image of our No.1 aircraft and post it on to airliners.net. . .. .Joking aside, and padding slightly on what Hamrah said above..... .. .We've moved into some smashing offices, which are rapidly filling-up with people, furniture, networks, systems, etc.... .. .The first batch of pilots and CabinCrew have / or are going through ground school courses (being run in our offices), with many of the pilots having completed (me included) or presently going through, their simulator stuff.. .. .We hope to have another newsletter our on the web site (which will include some interesting announcements, certainly w.r.t. some systems that we're now using), in the next few days - but the biggest problem we're having is just that there are only 24 hours in a day and we could seriously do with some more !!. .. .We'd be first to admit that it's a shame that our planned schedule has been disrupted (albeit to the tune of only two weeks), by lack of a hangar slot for a maintenance C check on aircraft No.1 - but them's the breaks.. .. .However, when you think that this whole start-up project has only been running for just 12 weeks - it is truly a credit to some tremendously talented and very hardworking people that it is so close to it's first flight !. .. .Ps. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ <-- e.g. I've been up since 4am developing our Revenue Accounts / Yield Management application - i.e. so much to do, but so little time !

Just spent a most enjoyable 30 mins reading the whole website.. .Astraeus doesn't only sounds major good fun, but also a responsible, smart, savvy outfit!. .. .And of course I was particularly impressed with the section that states '"desired pax behaviour" . .. .'Onya Astraeus!

They obviously don't want me then, not even an acknowledgement from the web site let alone an e-mail I would have thought good Ops staff are a rare thing these days. Maybe the ex BWA guys are there instead !!
