Glasgow UFO's

I was and suppose should have titled my post UFO's near Glasgow.

Around 0850 4th November my wife spotted 10+ glowing lights that seemed to come from the ground climb at an angle of 30 degrees and make a right turn.

We live in Cumbernauld, close to EGPG and know the commercial traffic patterns for GLA pretty well.

During the incident commercial aircraft could be seen in the approach pattern for GLA as normal - 23 approach.

Weather was 5C unlimited visibility.

Once I started watching them, I would say the glow could have been reheat - but was glowing for the whole time they were visible - about 90 seconds. The direction of climb looked to be 90 degrees from 05/23 runway. They then appeared to turn 90 degrees right. Climb angle looked around 25 degrees.

Any ideas?

I did get a video on a compact (720p) camera not great quality due to autofocus, etc. But can clearly be seen at a line of site range of 15 miles or so.

Looks like a typical lantern speed to me - we get them all the time in my area, and they can appear very deceptive at times.

Looks like lanterns to me too... once they get a bit of height they'll travel quite fast if the wind catches them.

Well, if it had been the Venus de Milo, it would have been quite 'armless!

I saw exactly the same from my 11th floor apartment balcony in Krakow in April. When I first noticed them, I could see about 5 or 6.
One came towards me travelling NW,the others went to the South at increasing speed. The single one passed right overhead. It was so bright, it lit up the balcony and appeared to be huge.
On the news the next day, a similar sighting was reported over Czestochowa which is 100km North West, approximately 8mins later.
I was running around like the Keystone Cops trying to find my camera but it was too late.

Looking at the title of this thread, I am compelled to ask exactly what belongs to the UFOs of Glasgow?
