Open Skies pulls out of IAD
OpenSkies will end its Washington-Dulles-Paris Orly service at the end of the month. The all-business-class subsidiary of British Airways will fly its last flight between the cities on Oct. 28, a move that will leave it with just one other route: Newark Liberty-Paris Orly.

maybe this is to facilitate the introduction of the rumoured LCY-SNN-BOS and IAD flights. means they won't route passengers through ORy, and they clear customs. Makes sense to bring it back into the BA network if its profitable for them in the A318 more so than the B752

What's this about a rumoured LCY-SNN-BOS/ORD route's?
(The magic dartboard of route planning)
Are OpenSkies making any money? It has gone very quiet on that front. Also why would BA go head to head with a subsidiary in this case OpenSkies when they already have a niche market across the Atlantic from LCY?
