Allegiant to leave Sanford
Heard today that Allegiant are moving to Orlando MCO.
Robert Ashcroft, Allegiant vice president of planning, said moving its service from Orlando-Sanford to Orlando International is a response to passengers who prefer Orlando International’s closer proximity to Orlando destinations like Disney World and Universal Studios theme parks and also improves Allegiant’s competitive position with other airlines.
I've heard passemgers asking why they are not in Orlando. Isn't Orlando Sanford airport in Orlando ??
Now maybe Sanford airport will listen and set up shuttle bus transfers, or better still trains to Orlando and the parks. Who wants to pay the high taxi fee..........
