LTE gone under?

Have they? Heard from a good source that they've sadly become the latest victim.

Nothing on their website yet,

LTE International Airways - Home Page

Not posting this to wind up the old bastards on this site. I was thinking of booking with them that's all!

Unfortunately you are right.
They did not fly today as they had no credit for fuel and other supplies.

Lte International Airways S.A. wish to inform you that due to the financial situation of the company, that make it difficult to meet the operational expenses in the next days, we have had to suspend our charter and scheduled operations.

Sympathies to the crews of LTE.

But sadly I think this is the beginning of the end for many carriers. End of October is traditionally conclusion of the Charter season.

Many will close the door and turn off the lights now. I also struggle to believe next year there will be much demand for IT holidays. Only the big players will survive, feeding off the weaker players without access to funding.

Another sad day....

Seems likely, doesn't it. And Debonair dragged AB Airlines down, or was it the other way round?

Strange how people who send airlines into bankruptcy through mismanagement always seem able to blag their way into losing someone else's money a bit later on......

Sympathies to all LTE crews from a former LTE driver. Bailed out in 95 after 7 years on the RHS but excellent SOPs and a training dept many should learn from.

"German Precision with Spanish Charm"... Forever BlueJet

I just hope that Titan Airways, who did a lot of sub charter work for LTE, were paid prior to them going under, they got LTE out of trouble when they couldn't get fuel at various locations on a number of occassions.
It goes without saying that I hope all the LTE crews find work very soon, the Directors can go and put their heads where the sun don't shine cos that's all they are capable of...
