Swazi Airline ceases operations
It's happening all over the world!
Small Swaziland carrier, Swazi Express, also ceased operations this week.
Operated Metroliner, Embraer120 and ATR42 on flights from it's base Manzini to Johannesburg, Durban (South Africa) and Maputo,Vilanculous (Mozambique).
Was in business for almost 14 years.
This though isn't so much to be blamed on the current economic conditions, but more of problems with aircraft and the leasing of it.
The aviation sector in Southern Africa is actually still growing, despite rising costs.
