Airport Masterplans
Hi,
I am in search of published airport masterplans for a research paper I am writing on the environmental impacts of airports (no - I'm not some hippie who wants them all closed - I study Aviation!) and was wondering if anyone could direct me to somewhere I could either download or buy airport masterplans. I was thinking of comparing MEL, a large international airport such as LHR or AMS and an airport in either China or India such as BOM, DEL, PEK or PVG. Has anyone even seen a copy of any these and do they have environmental strategies in them?
I know the MEL masterplan can be downloaded or purchased, but any ideas about accessing the others?
Cheers.

Look at WWW.BAA.com all the master plans for the Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen are on the site as .pdf downloads. Just need to look at which ever airport you are interested in.

There is alittle bit on the AMS website. Try http://www.schiphol.com/_schiphol_re...=1204624816839
or you could always revert to the older ways of writing to the Head of Airport Development at whichever airports you are interested in.
Good luck,
GH
