Coast Air of Norway closed, bankrupt

Coast Air is history. Operated 3 ATRs and 6 Jetstreams.

that's a sad news for them. But experienced pilots have no real problems to find a job, especially on the ATR fleet

Whose going to get those ATR42s then ? I heard it's extremelly difficult to find second hand ATRs on the market nowdays ?

Danish Air Transport (DAT) to buy Coast Air

According to http://www.aftenposten.no/english/bu...cle2216563.ece

"Just one day after a small Norwegian airline went bust, a Danish company is on the verge of taking it over.

Danish Air Transport (DAT) already made an offer to Coast Air owner Trygve Seglem, according to Aftenbladet.no, and a decision is expected within a few days.
DAT owner Jesper Rungholm said he has been in contact with Seglem about taking over Coast Air’s three ATR-42 airplanes and some of the 95 employees who suddenly lost their jobs on Wednesday."
