AI to join Star Alliance
PTI (Press Trust of India) is reporting that Star Alliance is submitting official invitation to Air India to join the grouping.
This is clearly very dangerous, as travelling public views any airline alliance also as brand that should provide consistent quality.
AI is outfit that on some days is incapable of getting its planes off the ground; terminates flights without prior warning at stopover points and just dumps passengers there; and routinely clocks up delays beyond common sense.
Is there anybody at Star Alliance with a brain?
