Imperial Airlines, Stansted and Bermuda.
Can anyone give me the story of Bermuda-based airline Imperial Airlines? They proposed to operate a luxury DC-8-50 VR-BIA on charters from Stansted in 1994/95. I don't think it ever made a revenue flight despite re-furbishing the aircraft to very high standard. VR-BIA was scrapped in 1997.
