Fantastic spot to fly into...and a nice cafe as well! And the approach is as picturesque as they come. Not to mention the firendly and informal staff...
Thumbs up all round.
As for FR...don't even joke...

They did...as did Brymon before the council closed the place down.Seemed short sighted to me at the time as I am sure the pax onboard were fairly well heeled...but the council knew best. I believe that they even had the lights dragged out of the runway edge rendering them unusable. The new owner had to reinstall from new alledgedly.

Yes Crossair operated summer carter flights to ZRH with Saab 2000's and Brymon with Dash 8to JER. So the possiblity is there for future flights.
Flybe could always be a possible.

So with the G8 announced at the Lough Erne Golf Resort, will St Angelo see any significant movements? I imagine heads of state will go directly from Aldergrove to the Lough Erne heli pad, but maybe some non-VVIP movements related to the summit?

Enniskillen
Hold on a wee minute now!!!!!
Enniskillen Airport may well be a very pleasant place to fly........However, if anyone and I mean ANYONE blocks Runway 15/33 with "Airforce 1" we will not be too pleased. As ever, the staff of EGAB will do all they can to make every effort to make all visitors most welcome during the G8 summit. Hopefully there won't be too many restrictions put in place. Just keep in touch.
