Reported SC & SD left for Germany last night.

Leaves impounded SA & broken SB.

Thanks to the person who reported the above elsewhere.

Any news yet on who will take the OSL & KSU routes? If any?

The saga continues

Apparently those passengers that paid by Credit Card CANNOT yet get a refund, as the airline is NOT yet in liquidation.

Until the Credit Card cos see a liquidator letter proving City Star have gone into liquidation, they will not get their refunds.

And with the CEO saying that the parent co "have enough money to restart the airline" this could be a protracted affair.

Roomors that Logie the Bear are interested in X9's sister companies Caledonian Airborne Engineering & City Star Ground Handling, possibly maybe as soon as next week.

Denied by the ugly sisters (oops, I mean the Arnason Bros) but nobody at the Bear has come out of their cave to comment yet.

X9 creditors worried that the profits from any disposal will go to Icyland.

With the sale of CAE announced along with the handling company I wonder if this means X9 will pay their staff. Does this also mean the end of T3 handling Logan at ABZ?

There is a god if T3 stop handling Loganair.

I think that the Aberdeen ambulance service should be the ground handler for Loganair. Nobody walks off they are all carried.

Why do you say that?

1. Loganair jumped into bed with Flybe
2. Flybe jump on all Eastern Routes
3. Therefore Loganair represent Flybe which means Eastern should leave well alone and look after non competition if they want to offer their services

Is that good enough

Fair enough. I thought you were indicating that the Loganair contract had caused some operational problems for Eastern

No staff got paid except possibly the baggage lads kept on for contract work and now onboard with logan, most others doing well in pastures new.

Possibly interesting times on horizon with Flybe/Logan, I wonder how long it takes for Flybe to start squeezing T3 again now it's buddy's handling is sorted out. Anybody's guess what we may see.

All the pilots found alternative employment? Locally or have they had to go further afield?

Are we anticipating an increasing "bunfight" as T3 & flybe do battle in ABZ?

Last part of X9 now (baggage) gone with Loganair buy-up. Pilots went to the four winds but believe most back in employment. Difficult to keep good folk down and that applies across the board for all ex X9'ers.

Can't see present handling set-up staying for long, something will have to give.

Ohhh I nearly forgot about City Star Executive, it still exists in the minds of a few in the volcanic north.

Speaking of the Volcanic north, I see the Arnason Brothers (aka Del & Rodney?? ) resigned from the parent co in Iceland, City Star Holding.

Glad most X9-ers found alternative employment. They sounded like a hard-working bunch.

The last CityStar Dornier left Aberdeen today, with a German Reg and a Suckling callsign for Dundee.

Strange seeing an aircraft in X9 colours almost a year to when they ceased ops.

The story has gone quiet - are the authorities investigating X9 affairs? Creditors receive their monies owed? Or is there now no story.
