Skysouth

Saw a website for a new company called Skysouth, operating flights from Shoreham to Le Havre & Le touquet.

Is this European Executive by another name?

I understand the flights are being operated on the Skydrift (Bandeirante operator) AOC, all the flightnumbers/callsigns are certianly prefixed with SDL

Looks like SkySouth are no longer using Skydrift (or its AOC) to operate it's flights. Skydrift had two Pa31's in its fleet along side a Bandit

From yesterday, the Caen & Le Havre flights have been operated by Synergy Aviation on it's AOC, presumably using a Pa31?

SkySouth

SkySouth, formed a year ago, has announced a new service from Shoreham to Paris (Pontoise), twice daily using Piper Navajo aircraft.
From Wednesday 1st August, flights will depart Shoreham at 0800 and 1530, and depart Pontoise at 1040 and 1810.

Best of luck!!

Where else do Sky South fly to from ESH, is it Caen & Le Havre?

Have BCI any plans to expand services at ESH?

Grrr

Pontoise was a good destination for the now defunct Debonair. Quite close to Paris from what I recall?

Do Skysouth have their own AOC or do they use another carriers aircraft? (possibly Synergy Aviation or Skydrift)

Pretty sure I've seen them with SDL flight numbers, indicating Skydrift AOC.

How many seats does a Navajo have?

Could they upgrade to a Metro/Be1900/JS31 or would there be implications using these on Shoreham's runway?

Ive spoken to Mike Petit back in April for those in the know his the architect of Skysouth and he said they were bringing in a second PA31 just for the Paris route but really hoped to be upgrading into a 19 seater Aircraft in an ideal world by the last quater of 2007 or the 1st quater of 2008 dependant on market demands and forecast.

hope that answers your question about implication at shoreham the runways is able to accomodate all the Aircraft you mentioned.

The only 19 seaters that could possibly use Shoreham are the Dornier 228 and the LET 410. J31s, B1900s, Metros etc wouldn't be able to get in or out.

Angel

There could be the Twin Otter.
many years ago in the early days of Jersey European Airways which is now Flybe they used to operate the Twin Otter from the Channel Islands on a regular summer service
So could the Twin Otter be returning to Shoreham?
