New restricted airspace in Japan

Quoted from Crisscross news:
TOKYO — In a rare move, the transport ministry has set a no-fly zone over and near Aomori Prefecture for fear that a new U.S. military radar to be installed in the northeastern Japan prefecture could cause radio interference for aircraft flying there, ministry officials said Thursday.
Some of flight routes for aircraft traveling between Aomori airport and Hokkaido's Hakodate airport have already been changed to avert the NFZ before it becomes effective next Wednesday, the officials of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said. U.S. forces in Japan had requested the measure in connection with a plan to install the missile-defense X-band radar at the Japanese Air-Defense Force's Shariki base in Tsugaru in the latter half of this year, they said.
