Reduction in flights to AGP?

I am interested to know why Jet2 have cut the number of flights from LBA-AGP in 2006 after 3 a day in summer 2005, most flights last year had near full capacity ?

Also does any body know if Monarch have stopped AGP-Newquay( NQY) for summmer 06

Thanks AGP Person

AGP Flights

I believe the morning LBA flight is to be a 757 every day, and maybe the evening flight too, and if that is the case then the total capacity of 2 757s ( 460 seats) is similar to 3 x 737s. ( 444 seats) So it is actually a slight increase albeit very minimal, but probably a cheaper way to do it.

Or there are just to many flights to Malaga from just about every decent sized airport in the country.

This is correct POL1W the Malaga morning run is a 757 aircraft so there is still a capacity increase on the route ex LBA. This also apply's to the ALC route and again it is the morning service which is a 757 aircraft.

So AGP PERSON don't dispare
