BA route Gatwick - Murcia(Spain)

Does anyone know why BA pulled out of the Gatwick - Murcia route? According to the Spanish papers it is one of the fastest expanding airports in Spain. Easyjet seem to be doing very well on it!

You've answered your own question. Easyjet have forced BA/GB Airways out of the market

Too add more info we started when the only other service was Aviaco, BA jumped the gun.

Ryanair cut the PIK-MJV route from daily to 3 times per week.
