Flying here in August 2006, and would like to see some photos or anyones comments as all I have heard elsewhere is negative thoughts and that is really poor and bad facilities etc

Yep I'll second that, had the misfortune to have several hours there due to a delayed flt, which they failed to tell us about at check in (yes they would of known).

It's small, gets very crowded, food and water prices are exhorbitant to say the least. The price you pay for 2L of water in the shops you get 250ml for at the airport, although I didn't have it Burger King was about £10 for burger and chips, £4 for a small tub of pringles.

Make sure you take plenty of water and food in with you.

The new terminal is due to be open for the start of the summer season so that should deal with the crowding issues. As for the pricing issues pay in Euro or Sterling and things get much cheaper I found.
