The BAA is wrong. I was booked on one of the flts to Stansted today
and was informed by Ryanair of the cancellation on 21st Dec - which is a month ago. BAA and others obviously did not update their website/screen feed. Ryanair has got delays receiving planes from Boeing - it is not some missing pilots conspiracy story.
Is it Ryanair's fault that the BAA website is faulty?

Why Peter do they have aircraft sitting doing nothing if they are short? Spin your way out of that.
“The recent announcement of the cessation of the Boeing strike will in turn enable our aircraft deliveries to be “back on track” by the end of December 2005. We anticipate there will be no material adverse impact on the company’s financial performance or passengers carried arising from the strike.
That was Michael O'Leary in october.
Edited for advertising.
What has changed since then? There has been no new strike AFAIK.
BTW if you check Dublin and Bergamo's site you will see the odd cancelled flight also. Not quite the BAA conspiracy FR claims.
Obviously these flights were left on the schedule by FR whether by accident or design. It would be nice for once to see FR admit what may just be an admin error.

Faire Dincome. FR told me a month ago my flight was cancelled. Also told all the world they were doing it.

Checked Dublin airport website; EI have one LHR cancelled, BA have one LGW cancelled, Air Wales have a Plymouth cancelled and FR have one STN cancelled. I see one flt canclled at Bergamo.

What is next John F Kennedy seen with Michael O'Leary on a grassy knoll near Bishops Stortford plotting against BALPA?

And your argument refutes any of mine why exactly?

Other than you think anyone who sees a problem at Ryanair is a fanatical conspiracy theorist.

Peter I accept they told you about the cancelled flight. I accept it is likely they told lots of people about the cancelled flights.

BAA and Dublin and Bergamo amog others are showing the flights as cancelled. People here are surmising as to the reason. It may be a simple administrative error on the part of FR that they didn't withdraw these flights from the central flight planning computer but then maybe they dont want to lose the slots.

The fact is they are claiming a shortage of aircraft as the reason for the cancellations. I and others here have seen unused NG aircraft on the ground today which would appear to suggest otherwise.

Thumbs up FR Stansted

The fact is the BAA STN Arr./Dep. information was not up to date,
while the BAA STN timetable info was.
