Any idea which base is going to provide the aircraft to operate Beauvais-Porto?

Or is one of them set to become a base?

It looks like a PIK based aircraft operating BVA - OPO.
BVA - TSF seems to be reduced from twice daily to once daily (this is also operated by a PIK based aircraft).

There are two other new routes in the booking system:

PIK - Marseille
PIK - Reus

Yeh, the PIK flights are in the booking system but when you go through to book you get the no flights available page. So I guess someone has added them to the system before they were meant to. FR have been really good for PIK, long may it continue.

Reus - Prestwick is also showing on the route map.

Marseille on the other hand, is not even a current Ryanair destination. Perhaps that should be Montpellier?

Prestwick is certainly overdue a southern French connection.

FR have reduced frequency of the pik-murcia route to 3Xweek, bah, means I've got to cancel my hol. This could be bad news for some folk as I know a few people who have bought apartments in Murcia area on the strngth of fr flying there.

Maybe they should try Prestwick to Malaga instead and give Flyglobespan some competition. I'm flying with some friends of mine from Prestwick to Malaga via Stansted. I know it's a hassle but it's saved us around £80 each on Flyglobespan.

Ive just clicked on "BOOK NOW" on the FR website and choosen PIK-MRS on the 24th of FEB 2006. It gives me a flight FR7844, a dep time 0630 and arrival 0940. It seems to me that the flight is only operating on FRI, SAT and SUN...

So with Krakow, Marseille and Reus was it? Anyway does that mean a sixth based aircraft for the summer?

Why PIK-MRS?

Thought they marketed FNI as Marseille?

Quite an honour for Prestwick being the first to a new destination by Ryanair.

Why PIK-MRS?
Because MRS is building a lowcost terminal that will be ready by fall 2006 and at the same time have produced inducement for any new line opening.

I bet MRS will have many more Ryanair destinations in a near future and why not, be the first French base.
