Teeside was mentioned in mine too

I seems the email must have been edited once GSM had realised they had put Teeside in

Wishful thinking eh, well you need to check your INBOX for Tuesdays emails because Globespan sent me the one I copied below and it mentions Teeside. I will forward you mine so you can verify its authenticity and not doubt others!!

Im sorry if ive obviously offended you dwpl. I was only going with what was on my email, and there was no mention of Teeside on it. Airhumberside mentioned Teeside too in his email so they must have reissued it. Sorry - ill just not bother posting if your going to take offence.

Which Brazilian company are going down the tubes Gaz? Not coming from there from what I've heard. But who knows, things change all the time in this business!!! Storm do the engineering in UK and Swissport in the USA. As for in house engineering, well maybe in the future.

Before you 'shoot from the hip/lip' maybe you can think/trust/believe someone else is correct.

Looks like GSM are increasing their MAN-YYZ flights to twice-weekly from late Dec 06. Flights operate on Thurs and Fri. This would require another aircraft, as the GLA based A/C is operating the SFB on that day, and the MAN based A/C doesn't return until 15.45 on Thurs, but the flight out on Thurs to YYZ departs 0930. Possibly a MAN based B757 to arrive for Dec 06?

it also looks like the inaugural STNATH on the 30th of June (which was meant to be inaugurated on 24th of May) is never going to happen as it is not on sale at present!!! unless of course it is sold out...
is that a sign that the sales were not as strong as expected? there are also some adhoc Tuesdays and Wednesdays being removed from the inventory too. i doubt they are sold out!!!
anyone knows whats happening there? are we likely to see more adhoc cancellations depanding on how sales go?

The STN-ATH flight numbers are being reviewed daily to make sure the loads are OK. Also, the 30th June flight is actually sold out. The other flights may be removed for essential maintenance.

webby1919 ,since you seem to have access to loads how busy are the sfb flights and in particular the 08/07 departure? Has this route been a success up until now and what are the other long haul plans apart from toronto/cape town.Would they consider a direct challenge to Continental on their new york operation or is that biting off more than they can chew?Any ideas where the 2 757s are being sourced from?

On 11 July 07, Economy has quite a few seats left, Premium only has 8 seats left, and Business has 12 seats left, but they are going fast by the day. Seems people are taking advantage of GSMs excellent deals on the flights to SFB.

There have been rumours about a TFS base for GSM over Winter 06, it seems to be coming true - just released - ABZ-TFS weekly on Fri originating from TFS and Teeside weekly on Tues originating from TFS. Another 5 more UK airports to target?

Think it may be this Winter 06, along with 2 x weekly YYZ. Suppose the BOS & LAX aren't starting until Summer 07.
