EOS Starting Early!

From ATW today:

Eos Airlines moved forward its planned startup of services between New York JFK and London Stansted to Oct. 18 from Nov. 1 owing to earlier-than-expected route approvals from the US Dept. of Transportation and UK Dept. of Transport. The carrier intends to operate 757s configured for 48 passengers in an all-business-class cabin featuring lie-flat seatbeds. The base unrestricted roundtrip fare is $6,500 but Eos is offering an introductory fare of $5,000. It will beat another transatlantic new entrant, MAXJet, out of the starting gate by two weeks; Washington Dulles-based MAXjet has set Nov. 1 as the day it will begin flying, also between JFK and STN (ATWOnline, Sept. 30). It will operate a 767-200ER configured for just 100 passengers. But whereas Eos is targeting high-end business and leisure travel, MAXJet is going after less opulent customers. Fares start at $779 each way and aircraft cabins feature a spacious arrangement but not the pod seatbeds offered by Eos.

Cheers

My understanding is that crews are from USA. I suspect they will slip at STN with either Hilton or Radisson being utilised.

Nice colours on that 757

How long will it last though
