Just wondering if anyone can tell me what route BA usually plan to fly from Gatwick to Barbados.

Think that's an aircraft type not a route.

Typically over Lands End then a direct track across the Atlantic, optimised for winds. Probably to the north of the Azores, unlikely to see any land between Cornwall and approach to Barbados.
