New ORK Terminal

Does anyone know if the new shiny terminal that is popping up in ORK is on schedule to open in November. To be honest, I was there in May and it just looked like a scaled down version of T5 as it looked at the time too!!!

I was at ORK last week and saw the new terminal for the first time. I'd be absolutely gobsmacked if it is completed by November as there still appears to be a huge amount of internal work to be done. However, the glass has been fitted to the outside and externally it already looks extremely impressive.

It will be a miracle if it opens in November. Although the Cork definition of open is very often different from everyone elses definition of open!

So its not on schedule then!!! LOL!!! According to www.corkairport.ie its planned to open in November!!! LOL!

Construction will be completed on the 2nd terminal in November but unfortunatley the airport authority are not officially opening it to the public until January!
