Also on this day in 1966 was the only fatal accident suffered by Britannia Airways when Britannia 102 G-ANBB crashed into woods on approach to Ljubljana after a flight from Luton.

I think Britannia had a fatal hull loss before they became known as "Britannia" (L1049?)
