Thomas Cook Holidays @ NWI, Summer 2006
According to the Thomas Cook 2006 brochure Balkan Bulgarian (LZ) will fly to Bourgas and Eastern Airways (EZE) will be flying to Split. Can a Saab 2000 fly that far?

The route was formerly operated by Flybe using a BA46, the SAAB 2000 has much the same operating performance and capacity, (if not slightly faster), and is probably cheaper to run.
The NWI based SAAB 2000s (we always seem to have at least two of them operating from here at any one time) are free for this sort of work most of Saturday and until late PM Sunday, so Eastern have put them to good use.

So Eastern use the Saabs for IT work between their schedules.
A case of Eastern "doing the Splits?"
(SORRY,it's been a long day & the footie's coming on...I'll be off then...)
