Anyone know what is going on with Rangemile Ltd aka Air Commuter at Coventry? Apprently their offices and engineering facility have been boarded up at the airport?

Well the good news is Rangemile is still fully operational at Coventry. Ops has 4 full-time staff and they are now accepting handling work and getting involved heavily (once more) with charter flights. The company is in the process of bringing in new aircraft for its existing charter work and full-time sales resources are also now in place. Further enquiries can be made on Rangemile's Ops number 024 7621 7336

Talking Great News then!

I personally would be greatly saddened if Rangemile/AirCom failed. As a newly qualified CPL 25 years ago, PJ gave me my first job... and what a fleet he had in those days! C500, 3x125s, Be90, 2xPA31 and 2 x PA23. Happy days pounding to and from Pontoise with Cooper, Croot, Buxton,Holmes etc.... what on earth did I spend that £400/month on? :-( Cheers, bm

They were operating a 125 on behalf of Marconi a few few years back but then Marconi had financial problems & the 125 was returned to its lessor.

Last aircraft I know of them operating was a Pa31 but they once did have a demo of a ERJ135 Legacy
