Local IOM question

I was visiting my mother in Castletown last weekend as per usual and decided to go to Cregneash (also Cregneish) for the first time, to look across the Sound to the Calf.

Is the 'flying saucer' on the hill an NDB?

Thanks.

Snoop

Nope.

It is the tracker scanner which monitors the whereabouts of any of the poor little bastards who have escaped from that dreadful dungeon of a school just near the airport.
It used to be a mental asylum untl closed down just after WW1.
Toodle Pip.Hope that helps.
